Lemon Cilantro Noodles

Equipment

  • 1 Heatproof bowl
  • 1 pan or pot

Ingredients
  

  • 2 nos Noodles Pack 5.2 oz 
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro / Coriander leaves chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp Shallot / Onion chopped
  • 1 tbsp Garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup Oil

Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp Dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Lemon / Lime juice
  • 1 tbsp Black pepper sauce or chili sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of sugar

Instructions
 

Cook the Noodles

  • Cook the noodles according to the package instructions slightly undercook until still chewy.
    2 nos Noodles Pack
  • Drain the noodles and set aside.

Season the Noodles

  • In a heat-proof bowl, combine chopped onions or shallots, chopped coriander leaves, minced garlic, and red chili flakes.
    1/4 cup Cilantro / Coriander leaves, 1/2 tsp Chili flakes, 2 tbsp Shallot / Onion, 1 tbsp Garlic
  • Heat the oil in the pot over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes or until it becomes hot and you notice small bubbles forming.
    1/4 cup Oil
  • Pour the hot oil over the mixture. Mix everything well.
  • Add dark soy sauce, black pepper sauce or chili sauce, salt, sugar, and lime juice. Mix well.

  • Next, add the cooked noodles and mix to coat in the sauce mixture. 
  • Finish with some chili oil/sauce, if you like!
