In a blender, combine chopped coriander leaves, grated coconut, garlic cloves, green chilies, roasted gram dal, and a small piece of tamarind.

Add water gradually and blend the ingredients into a smooth paste. Adjust the consistency as desired.

Heat oil in a small pan. Add mustard seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves. Let them to splutter.
1 tbsp coconut oil, 1/2 tsp urad dal, 1/4 tsp mustard seeds, 8-10 nos curry leaves
Pour the tempering over the chutney and mix well.
Your Green Coconut Chutney is ready to be served!
