Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup papdi
  • 1/2 cup yogurt (curd) whisked
  • 1/2 cup boondi
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black salt
  • 1/2 cup potato boiled and smashed
  • 2 tbsp onion finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp tomato finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp green chutney
  • 2 tbsp imli chutney
  • nylon sev as required for garnish
  • coriander leaves chopped, as required for garnish
  • pomegranate as required for garnish
  • lemon juice as required for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Take curd in a bowl and whisk it until smooth.Then, add boondi to the whisked curd, red chili powder, chaat masala, black salt, and sugar. Combine everything well.

  • Assemble the yogurt-boondi mixture on a plate. Place the broken papdi on top of the yogurt-boondi mixture.

  • Add smashed boiled potato on top of papdi layer.

  • Drizzle the green and sweet tamarind chutney (imli chutney). Sprinkle some chaat masala on top.

  • Sprinkle chopped onions and tomatoes over the chaat.

  • Garnish the chaat with nylon sev and chopped coriander. Squeeze lemon juice right before serving.

  • Serve the Dahi Boondi Papadi Chaat immediately, allowing the flavors to meld.

Notes

  • Use fresh papdi (crispy fried dough wafers) for the best texture.
  • Use fresh and less sour curd (yogurt) for the best taste.
  • To maintain the crispiness of the papdi, assemble the chaat just before serving.
