- Start by thoroughly washing the cilantro and mint leaves. Remove any hard stems and discard them.2 cups Cilantro leaves / Coriander leaves, 1 cup Mint leaves
- Roughly chop the cilantro leaves and set them aside. Also, remove the stems from the mint leaves.
- In a blender or food processor, combine the cilantro leaves, mint leaves, green chili, roughly chopped ginger, roasted cumin powder, salt, sugar, lime juice (or tamarind pulp), and water.2 nos Green Chilies, 1 inch Ginger, 1 tsp Roasted cumin powder, 1 tbsp Lime / Lemon juice, 1/4 tsp Sugar, Salt, Water
- Blend the ingredients until you achieve a smooth consistency.
- Taste the chutney and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
- Enjoy your homemade cilantro mint chutney with your favorite snacks, or appetizers.
Notes
- If you don't have lime juice, you can substitute it with tamarind pulp.
- Adjust the quantity of green chilies according to your spice preference.
